The New York City Ballet is a dance company where young dancers can be guided in training by the greatest ballet dancers. The company aims to capture the attention of a wide variety of the public audience through many efforts such as touring, education programs, creative use of media, and other outreach efforts. New York Ballet’s goals are to preserve the ballets, dance aesthetic, and standards of excellence created and established by its founders. Additionally, the company aims to develop new work that draws on the creative talents of contemporary choreographers.
